​​Welcome The First Ever 2027 Subaru Getaway Three Row EV SUV​

Subaru is on a roll, producing fun electric vehicles that buyers actually want and need. It all started with the first-ever Solterra in 2023, followed by the Uncharted and Trailseeker crossovers for 2026. Now, a new EV SUV is hitting the streets with three rows of seats, over 300 miles of range, and standard all-wheel drive, called the Subaru Getaway.  

Plenty of Power and Towing Ability 

The 2027 Getaway is set to become one of the few EV SUVs with three proper rows of seats and is also the most powerful production Subaru ever, with 420 horsepower from dual electric motors. Subaru says the vehicle can tow up to 3,500 lbs. when properly equipped and will hit 60 mph in less than five seconds, when it’s not towing, of course.  

Over 300 Miles of Range 

While Subaru is keeping a tight lid on most of the information about the Getaway that will be released at a later time, we do know there will be a standard model with a 77-kWh lithium-ion battery, and a long-range model will feature a 95.8-kWh Li-ion battery that will offer over 300 miles of range between charges. The Getaway will have a max charging speed of 150 kW and can charge from 10-80% in just 30 minutes.  

More Ground Clearance Than Most Trucks 

An SUV is more than just towing and horsepower, though, and the Getaway is 100% Subaru with standard Subaru Symmetrical all-wheel drive and 8.3 inches of ground clearance, which is more than nearly every standard truck on the market today.  

A Generous Amount of Cargo Space 

Inside, owners will appreciate the cavernous cargo space with 45.6 cubic feet when the third row is folded, which is 2.1 cu.ft. more than the Kia EV9 has. With the third row upright, there is still a generous 15.9 cu.ft. While seven seats are standard, buyers can option second-row captain’s chairs, bringing the total to six seats.  

Great Infotainment and Tech Features 

All Getaway models come standard with a 14-inch infotainment touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, along with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Dual 15-watt USB-C charging ports are available for the driver and front passenger, and four USB-C ports help rear passengers keep all of their devices fully charged, no matter how long the trip is. Heated seats are also standard for the driver and front passenger.

Just like other Subaru models, the Getaway comes with the award-winning Subaru EyeSight driver-assistance safety system, which features Pre-Collision Braking, Blind Spot Detection, Lane Departure Warning, Emergency Stop Signal, Traffic Jam Assist, Lane Change Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and more. Certain trim levels also include Front Cross Traffic Alert, Intelligent Park Assist, digital rearview mirror, and more.
