Motor1.com Reviews the 2026 Subaru Uncharted
The 2026 Subaru Uncharted is more than just a battery-electric crossover. It is a whole new way to seek adventure without using one drop of fuel.

There has been plenty of press coverage given to our new electric crossover. The Motor1.com website was among the reviews published on the 2026 Uncharted. Their headline compared it to our popular Crosstrek.
Before we get into Motor1’s evaluation of the 2026 Uncharted, we should explain the comparison a bit. They’re both within two to three inches of each other in terms of overall length and wheelbase – the Uncharted has the longer of the two. They also have a ground clearance of over eight inches, within half an inch of each other. Size-wise, they are practically the same, which would give some to choose between the gas- and hybrid-powered Crosstrek and the all-electric Uncharted.
The 2026 Uncharted has the advantage in cargo space. The adjustable floor can yield up to 23.0 cubic feet of space behind the rear seats. You can still seat up to five people comfortably underneath this sleek coupe SUV body.

Another advantage is the 2026 Uncharted battery-electric driveline. Premium models come with a 221-horsepower single-motor driveline mounted at the front axle. Sport and GT models add another electric motor at the rear axle, giving you a total of 338 horsepower. The dual-motor driveline also features Symmetrical all-wheel drive with a choice of drive modes to handle the conditions you’ll encounter in your 2026 Uncharted.
All 2026 Uncharted models are powered by a 74.7-kilowatt-hour battery pack that is recharged via a native North American Charging Standard (NACS) port. At any DC Fast Charger, it can return energy from 10 to 80 percent state of charge in around 28 minutes at 150 kilowatts. Single-motor models can return up to 308 miles, while dual-motor models can achieve up to 287 miles. You also get an adapter to use at DC Fast Charging stations with CCS plugs.
The hub for connectivity is through a 14-inch center infotainment touchscreen display, where you can wirelessly connect your smartphone and see what’s around you with a Panoramic View Monitor. There are also dual wireless device chargers on board. Your 2026 Uncharted will be protected by the features included in the EyeSight Driver Assist Technology, while maintaining a safer driving experience overall.

How does it drive? According to Motor1.com, it certainly induces a smile upon whoever is behind the wheel and everyone on board.
