What's New for 2024?
The 2024 Subaru Crosstrek received a redesign with a more modern looking exterior along with the introduction of the new Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness. This off-road focused trim offers some added performance and design changes to help you manage different terrain. The Subaru Boxer engine has also been retuned to provide some added horsepower and torque.
Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness
The Subaru Crosstrek Wilderness is equipped with all-terrain tires on 17-inch matte black alloy wheels. It's also got up to 9.3-inches of ground clearance along with a front skid plate for improved handling. You also get up to 3,500 pounds of towing capacity with the Wilderness and can haul some extra cargo around South Lake Tahoe through the standard roof rails. You'll also have a comfortable interior with StarTex seats along with the latest tech features.
Performance
You can choose from one of two engine options with the standard two-liter Subaru Boxer engine providing up to 152 horsepower and 145 pound-feet of torque. The upgraded 2.5-liter Boxer engine provides up to 182 horsepower and 178 pound-feet of torque. Its horizontal design along with the standard symmetrical all-wheel drive system helps provide a lower center of gravity that translates to improved handling when navigating Minden roads.
Interior
You can fit up to five passengers inside the Subaru Crosstrek and the 60/40-split design allows you to fold one or both of the rear seats when you need some extra cargo space. The rear gate of the Subaru Crosstrek is wider to make it easier to load and unload cargo. Passengers will have plenty of legroom. You can choose from various cloth and leather seating upholstery along with heated front seats for added comfort during the Truckee winters.
Exterior
The Subaru Crosstrek comes standard with 8.7-inches of ground clearance to help you maneuver over terrain. The new design features a larger honeycomb grille and new LED headlights that offer a more sporty and aggressive style. You can equip the Subaru Crosstrek with raised roof rails that can make use of various racking accessories to provide you with even more storage options on your weekend adventure outside Gardnerville.
Technology
The 2024 Subaru Crosstrek offers an available 11.6-inch touchscreen powered by the Starlink Multimedia System. You get Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ integration to easily connect your smartphone wirelessly and you can take advantage of the available wireless charger to keep your phone charged. This high-resolution touchscreen can show your favorite apps, navigate around Carson City, and play your favorite songs through the infotainment system. Some models are equipped with the Harman Kardon Premium Audio system with either eight or ten speakers for a more immersive listening experience.
Safety
The 2024 Subaru Crosstrek has an updated EyeSight Driver Assist Technology package that comes equipped on all models. There are features, like Automatic Steering along with Pre-Collision Braking Support, help you avoid potential accidents and better prepare for the unexpected. You can also equip the Subaru Crosstrek with features, like the Rear Cross Traffic Alert system along with the Blind-Spot Detection System, that can alert you to vehicles around you. Each Subaru Crosstrek also comes standard with a Rear-Vision Camera so you can see what's behind you.
