Anyone who says that one vehicle can't do it all has never met the 2021 Subaru Outback. This spacious vehicle has plenty of room for people and passengers, plus comfort-enhancing features. There are two powerful yet efficient engines you can choose from as well. Like to get out and explore Carson City and beyond? Standard all-wheel drive and the Outback's excellent ground clearance make that possible. Properly equipped models can even tow up to 3,500 pounds! At Michael Hohl Subaru, we are here to tell you more about it.

Interior

There is enough space for five people in the 2021 Outback. Legroom and headroom are generous throughout, making this an adult-friendly vehicle in both rows. You get over 32 cubic feet of space in the cargo area. If you fold down the second-row, that number jumps up to over 75 cubic feet. There is even under-floor storage for stashing valuables.

Technology

If you stick with the base Outback, you get two seven-inch touchscreens and the ability to connect your smartphone via Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay®. Upper models have smartphone integration as well but have you controlling it on a vertical 11.6-inch touchscreen. All models have at least two USB ports for keeping gear charged as you go about life in Carson City.

Performance

Non-XT models of the 2021 Outback are powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that makes 182-horsepower and 176 pound-feet of torque. Models with the XT in their name use a turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder that brings the output up to 260-horsepower and 277 pound-feet of torque. Either way, you get Subaru's famous standard all-wheel drive. You also get 8.7-inches of ground clearance to tackle whatever the roads throw at you.
