2025 Subaru Share the Love Event Aims for $30 Million

In its advertising and other communications, Subaru consistentlyย statesย that it is More Than a Car Companyยฎ and backs that claim with the Subaru Love Promise. The Love Promiseย triggers a donation to the buyerโs choice of Subaru of Americaโs four national charity partnershipsย with each new car purchase.ย Michael Hohl Subaruย is proud to announce that the 2025 Subaru Share the Loveยฎ Event aims to raise millionsย of dollarsย in donations, bringing cumulativeย contributionsย to $350 million over 18 years.
While Subaru recognizesย thatย itย isnโtย the only auto manufacturer toย giveย toย charitable causes, it is unique in how itย involves its retailers and customers in the process. During the event, customers whoย purchaseย or lease a new Subaru can choose among four national charity partners:ย
- The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animalsยฎ (ASPCAยฎ)ย
- Make-A-Wishยฎย
- Meals on Wheelsย
- National Park Foundationย
ย โฆor approximately 837 local charities selected by dealerships.ย The majority ofย donationsย are madeย to local charitable organizations where Subaru customersย reside.ย ย Michael Hohlโs preferred charities include:ย
- Nevada Humane Societyย
- Boys and Girls Club of Western Nevadaย

Subaru kicked off this yearโs event with two heartwarming national TV spots. The first, โProm,โย beautifullyย showcasesย the inspiring selflessness of a young Make-A-Wish child who chooses to grant a โWish to Giveโ,ย one of the charityโs unique wish types.ย The second,ย โLove Comes Home,โย shines a light on the dedicated efforts of Subaru retailers as they support local charities in their communities every day.ย ย

From November 20, 2025, through January 2, 2026, Subaru donated $250 for each new Subaru vehicle purchased or leased at participating retailers nationwide to the charity of your choice.* Participating retailers are also excited to offer the chance to support up to two local charities in their community, with at least an extra $50 for each vehicle sold or leased to help make a difference. Plus, many of our friendly retailers will contribute $5 to their registered local charities for every qualifying Subaru vehicle routine service visit during this joyful campaign period.ย
The 2025 Share the Love event may have passed, but atย Michael Hohl Subaru, Love Promise begins another year with continued contributions to national and local charities.ย
